in it for the long haul. . . to Wyoming.

Mid July came around and before we knew it we were finally half way done with our tour and heading to our home town of North Conway, NH. We were hosting an event for our previous employer, the Mount Washington Observatory. We had a tent at the after party of their annual Hike-a-Thon they host every year. We were excited to be back on familiar territory, but even more excited to start the second half of the tour. The second half was going to include some pretty spectacular places, hikes, swimming, friends, and we couldn't have been more excited. Harper & I out with Josh on the Paddle Boards before Storyland! Harper & I on the Parapet tower at the MWOBS for STP. The morning after our event was over, we said our goodbyes again to friends and family, packed up the car and hit the road somewhat early. We had almost a week off and our next stop was in Wyoming. We high tailed it to the Tetons where we got to sleep in a cabin at the American Alpine Club Climbers Ranch

" But I encourage you, all of you, to get out there and do the things you love. Don’t let there be set backs.  " A quote stolen from my last blog is exactly how I thought I would get myself back into the game and start up again from where I left off several months ago. My last blog post was all about my time spent in Colorado during my 5 month road trip.  Colorado was one of the best parts about being on the road. We were lucky enough to have had 2 full weeks there and basically got to enjoy almost everything that state had to offer. From the Rocky Mountains, to the city life of Denver, all the way to Sand Boarding in the Great Sand Dunes. However, there was one unfortunate part that occurred shortly after my last blog was written. Headstand at the bottom of the Dunes  Running down the Sand Dune in bare feet. (note: the sand was extremely hot) Windblown waves of sand. We had arrived in Salida, CO for our first festival. We were camping and working day in an

When was the last time you did something for the first time?   Oregon was a very short lived trip by far. We packed up out tent site at Olympic National Park and headed south towards Portland, OR. Here we would drop Josh off to head back home and we would keep heading to Portland REI for our event that night. This was the first event we had attended not showered, and barely any clean clothes. Which made for good laughs throughout the night. We were also fortunate enough to have had a friend and his wife out in Portland visiting their sons and had rented a house for the week we would be there. They invited us to stay with them for the 2 nights. We took them up on that offer, seeing as though being so far away for so long, it was always nice to be around friends. We woke up the next morning refreshed and energized. We decided to sight see a bit while we were there since we only had two full days to explore such a beautiful city. On our agenda was to see some gorgeous water
